Just 1 day after Costco launched on Uber Eats, they also launched nation-wide on DoorDash. To promote the launch, DoorDash is offering a 20% off discount promo code for Costco orders for a limited time. At the same time, Costco is also offering discounted DoorDash gift cards for 20% off on Costco.com. The great news is that you can stack the savings on both, and potentially even add on previously existing Chase credit card credits for DoorDash orders (and free DashPass) – more details on all of that below. Also, it’s worth noting that Costco deliveries are free if over $60 for DashPass members.
Costco, as a “membership warehouse club” has historically had pretty strong limitations around consumers being able to shop at Costco without a membership and on other platforms. I was surprised when they launched on Instacart a few years ago and even more surprised when they started offering credits on some Instacart orders. Costco still partners with Instacart for delivery, both on the Costco storefront on Instacart, and on sameday.costco.com. At the same time as these launches, Costco also began re-offering discounted DoorDash gift cards and discounted discounted Uber Eats gift cards on Costco.com – with pricing that is 20% off gift card value. They offered these gift card discounts in the past and in coordination with the launches they are now once again available.

Additionally, you can use code COSTCO26 to get 20% off a Costco order on DoorDash, with a max discount of $50 (i.e. $250 order). There is a minimum subtotal of $100 for the promotion. The promo code is valid through 11/1/26.

Is it Worth Shopping Costco on DoorDash?
Is it worth shopping Costco on DoorDash? It depends. If you’re planning on placing orders without the aforementioned discounted DoorDash gift cards and/or a DoorDash promo code, I’d say “no”. DoorDash, like all other delivery apps charge service/delivery fees and, of course, you should tip your delivery driver for their time and costs. At this moment, if you can stack BOTH discounted gift cards along with a promo code – it seems like a no-brainer. Unless you’re a crazy high tipper, you’re likely to come out ahead versus shopping in store – and you’ll save the time and hassle.
