In May, Sam’s club increased membership prices for both membership levels for the first time since October of 2022. The new prices are in line with what other membership clubs like Costco and BJ’s Wholesale charge (Costco’s fees are still higher at $65 and $130 per year after their most recent price increase) – but it’s never a great time to get a recurring price increase. Plus Tier Reward Bonus Increased up to $750 from $500

One piece of good news in the announcement comes for Plus members. The Plus tier’s 2% Sam’s Cash reward was increased, from up to $750 per year, after previously being capped at $500.

How to Get a Sam’s Club Membership Discount

To help soften the blow, Sam’s Club offers membership fee discounts fairly frequently, with discounts typically at 50%+.
