My Take: with the 50GB/month of high-speed data and 20GB/month hotspot, you’re probably not going to find a better price on any mobile plan (both of these were increased recently with no price increase). If you haven’t used T-Mobile’s network, and you give Mint a try and find it doesn’t meet your needs for your location, you can cancel your service for any reason within 7 days of activation and Mint will refund you 100% of the purchase price, including any fees and taxes – so there’s no risk involved.
If you don’t like Mint’s service, the phone is unlocked after just 60 days on their service and you can take it elsewhere later on.
