Mint Mobile Promotions: 50% Off Unlimited Plan or $400 Off Google Pixel 9

Mint Mobile, the Ryan Reynolds endorsed T-Mobile brand has 2 great offers up right now. The first is 50% off their prepaid “Unlimited” 3-month plan (normally $30/month, but just $15/month with the sale price). This is a great offer for those who want to bring their own phone. Perhaps an even better off, particularly if you are seeking a new phone, is for a $400 off of a Google Pixel 9 and it comes with 1-year of Mint’s Unlimited Plan for $15/month (a $120 discount)! Read on for full details/links to these offers as well as info on an even better deal for half off of a Google Pixel 9.

Mint Mobile Discount

This Mint Mobile Unlimited Plan includes:

  • Data: Unlimited, first 40GB/month at high speeds (5G/4G LTE). If 40GB is hit in a given month, speeds are throttled to 3G (approximately 512Kbps). If you need more data, then you can purchase a once-monthly data add-on in your account.
  • Mobile Hotspot Tethering: 10GB/month allowance at high speeds.
  • Video Streaming: 1.5Mbps (480p resolution).
  • Talk/Text: Unlimited.
  • International Features: Free calls to Canada and Mexico. Free texts to 190+ countries. 3GB of high-speed roaming data per month while roaming in Canada before speeds slow to 128Kbps.

Switching to Mint Mobile is about as easy as it gets. Compatible bring your own phone (BYOP) devices include most unlocked, GSM-network phones – e.g. unlocked AT&T, T-Mobile, Cricket Wireless, Simple Mobile, and Straight Talk phones. And, if your device is eSIM compatible, you can activate immediately.

My Take: with the 40GB/month of high-speed data and 10GB/month hotspot, you’re probably not going to find a better price on any mobile plan. You do have to pay for 3 months, but I don’t really see any gotchas here – just an incredible amount of high-speed data for a low price. If you haven’t used T-Mobile’s network, and you give Mint a try and find it doesn’t meet your needs for your location, you can cancel your service for any reason within 7 days of activation and Mint will refund you 100% of the purchase price, including any fees and taxes – so there’s no risk involved.

Personally, the Google Pixel 9 deal is what I would go for. $400 off of a great phone and another $120 discount on “Unlimited” for a year? If you don’t like Mint’s service, the phone is unlocked after just 60 days on their service and you can take it elsewhere then or after the free year of service.
