Get Microsoft Office 365 for Free for 30 Days
I’m a big fan of weening yourself away from paid software, such as Microsoft Office, as much as possible. Other than Photoshop, I haven’t bought software in probably 6 years or so (excluding Turbotax). But for those looking for a free ride with the Microsoft Office suite, I recently discovered that you can try Office 365 (Microsoft’s new cloud version of Office) for free for 30 days.
Microsoft Office Trial
Try a free trial version of Microsoft Office 365 (the free trial lasts 30 days). From there, the cost is $9.99 per month.
That may be just long enough to get you through a semester or a project that you are working on.
Microsoft Office Alternatives
Of course, if you don’t want to rely on overpriced software, you can wean yourself off of it fairly easily these days. Check out my post on free Microsoft Office alternatives – Google Docs and Libre Office to the rescue!
Microsoft Office Discussion
- Have you tried out Microsoft Office 2010? How is it compared to past versions?
- Have you recently switched to a free alternative? Which one?
