		<description>I would add a &quot;stikstool&quot; to the list. I bought one won&#039;t leave the house without it. Its a three piece hiking stick that converts into a chair. You can find one on ebay. I wish I had one years ago.</description>

		<description>When I went on a bicycle tour I also had to train and weigh my panniers.

Over the course of two months, I wound up going from:

-Biking 40 miles a day
-Biking 120 miles a day
-Biking 40 miles a day with my panniers on (about 80 pounds on the wheels)
-Biking 120 miles a day with my panniers on

In that order. 

I also did a few trial runs for a few nights to make sure I had everything I needed in my pack. If I found myself in need I made note of it because I knew it would be more difficult once I was in the country somewhere in the middle of Europe.</description>
