20Something Personal Finance News - Holiday Edition

I recently wrote a few guest articles for other personal finance blogs that I’d highly recommend to my readers (aren’t we all a little biased?):

In other news:

  • Ramit at the the Iwillteachyoutoberich.com blog is promoting a scholarship that he is offering to those in their twenties for ’social innovation’. It’s an interesting concept and I’m excited to see how it turns out. If you have an idea on how to help others on a mass scale, it’s worth applying.
  • The TransUnion class action lawsuit that I highlighted back in July appears to be in the appeal process. It’s too late to sign up to receive benefits if you haven’t already, but if you have, it appears you’re going to have to wait a little longer for the benefits you signed up for.
  • I just downloaded Inkscape, a basic free alternative to Adobe Illustrator. Haven’t dug into the features yet, but free alternatives to expensive popular software titles are a big win in my book.

Not sure if I’ll get another post out by the holidays, so enjoy your time with loved ones and be safe.

Nothing wrong with being a little biased sometimes. It’s great to help others, but nothing wrong when you market yourself, especially when it’s quality.

Guest posting is a great way to expand your audience and offer something good to your colleagues too. Nice job with the posts. I have several personal finance blogs. Would love to have you as a guest blogger.
